Assessor Training Programme For Building Energy Rating (BER) of New Dwellings
Hanley consulting & training deliver the Building Energy Assessor Training Assessor course in a practical down to earth manner by allowing you one week between each workshop day to apply your learning’s and digest the material.

Research shows that attempting to complete courses in a series of consecutive days not only puts pressure on people but also ensures that the learning becomes all about the exams.

We at HCT, in line with our mission reflecting reality and people focused, want you the learner to be fully competent and comfortable with the content. In addition, this approach takes into consideration other time constraints, the importance of work life balance and the key deliverable of transfer of learning to the workplace. Admission Policy: Appropriate construction related qualification, at least National Certificate Level 6, Advanced Certificate or Higher Certificate in construction studies or other relevant discipline or equivalent.

Duration: 2 workshop days and assessment on week three.

Examination policy : 3 assignments (30% of total marks), question examination (30% of marks) and a practical examination (40% of total marks). An overall score of 70% for registration as a BER assessor is required.

Certification: SEI Approved at FETAC Level 6 Award.

Resource Requirements: Laptop, printer and scientific calculator.

Course Fee: €1,650 per participant inclusive of course materials and lunch.

Program Trainer:
Dermot Russell MCIOB, MICW has over forty years experience in the construction industry. He lectures at the Dublin Institute of Technology, Faculty Built Environment and on elements of site management and training programmes for CIF and CIOB.

He is a corporate member of the Chartered Institute of Building and a member of the Institute of Clerks of Work GB. He is an active member of CIOB in Ireland for a number of years.

Refresher Training:
This course offers up to two complimentary referrals if required at a later stage.
